This Gimme Bar idea is pretty great. I can’t help but immediately wonder two things:
- There must be some sort of open standard for this concept, right? The way hCard and hCal represent information, is there something like an hFavorite?
- I have a ‘+’ bookmark bar folder and it’s got 11 javascript links in it, each for saving some bit of content to a different repository type of site. Is Gimme Bar a single solution?
These two things aside, it looks like a good way to pick fruit as you wander around the internet forest.
